Balcrank Products Inc. announces the release of the Spectrum 1000 Fluid Inventory Control System. The system is ideal for auto dealerships, truck fleet service, etc. where automation of oil dispensing, faster vehicle service, protection against oil theft, accounting verification of oil service and management of oil inventory is required.
Features of the new Spectrum 1000 include:
· Capacity: Up to 16 fluids dispatched to a maximum 384 dispense points
· Electronic queuing of up to 900 dispenses from a PC
· User-friendly PC data interface with reporting and tank monitoring capabilities
· Job ticket printer available within keypad clearly reports all dispensing data
· PIN identification of up to 999 operators with separate management passwords
· Monitors and controls up to 16 tanks, 12 with sensor probes
· Dispenses in quarts, pints, liters, or gallons - Totalizes tank levels in gallons or liters
· Simultaneous dispenses, one per zone (keypad)
· Easy installation and flexible configuration for todays shop and for tomorrows expansion
· Accurate dispense measurements 0.5 to 8.0 gpm, +/- .5%
· Large LED display better than ready lights
· Operated by low voltage dc power
· Service fluids: motor oils, ATF, gear oil, anti-freeze, and WW fluid

SPECIAL NOTE: The selling and purchasing of the Spectrum 1000 system will be different from other Balcrank FIC equipment:
· Systems must be pre-approved before proposal is made to end user

· The start up of all systems will be supervised by a Balcrank field assistant after the system has been readied for dispensing and programming. The fee schedule is listed below.

· Start up 1.5 day audit fee: $1450 East, $1950 West
· Airline change fees due to reschedule will be billed to installer
· After first install, technicians qualified by Balcrank may self-audit

· Readiness will be determined by an itemized checklist
· Phone assistance is available prior to and after the audit
· Extended audit rate (system not ready), $600 per day
Balcrank also introduces the Tank Guardian Monitoring system. The Model 4250-010 Tank Guardian Level Gauge monitors the fluid level of tanks by detecting the static pressure generated by the fluid height. A tube is inserted in the tank and the fluid level or volume is displayed on the Tank Guardian screen. It displays in gallons or liters.
The Tank Guardian can be used as a stand-alone monitor for a single tank or it can be used with the Multi Tank PC software to enable the user to connect up to 12 Tank Guardian level gauges to the users PC. It saves historical tank level records according to time interval, level change, and volume change. With the recorded data, a diagram can be displayed showing the historical tank level records. High and low level prompts are included in the display. It can also be integrated with Spectrum 1000 system operation and PC displays.
